Asia-Link
Das von der EU in den Jahren 2005 bis 2008 finanzierte Asia Link Projekt „Human Resource Development in Law and Economics for India and Europe“ zielt darauf ab, die ökonomische Analyse des Rechts in Indien zu fördern. Koordiniert wird das Asia Link Projekt an der Universität Hamburg. Zu den Partnerinstituten gehören die Universität Ghent, das Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research in Mumbai, die National Law School of India Universität in Bangalore sowie die Universität Hyderabad. Die europäischen Partner sind dazu eingeladen, in Indien Kurse zu geben und vor Ort an Forschungsseminaren teilzunehmen. Zudem erhalten fünf indische Doktoranden Stipendien für einen Aufenthalt von 20 Monaten in Ghent oder Hamburg, wo sie die Möglichkeit haben, zu forschen und ihre Arbeit in Seminaren und auf Konferenzen zu präsentieren. |  |

The EU-funded Asia Link Project ‘Human Resource Development in Law and Economics for India and Europe’ aims at expanding the scope of Law and Economics in India, and is coordinated by the University of Hamburg. The other partner institutions consist of the University of Ghent, the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research in Mumbai, the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and the University of Hyderabad. The European partners are invited to teach classes as well as to conduct senior scholar workshops in India. Additionally, five Indian Ph.D. students will be awarded scholarships for a stay of 20 months in either Hamburg or Ghent, where they will be given the opportunity to research and to present their work in scientific conferences and workshops. | |
